Code of Conduct
Our conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof), or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form. Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, workshops, parties or social media. Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organizers.
Immediate reporting to the Designated Point of Contact (Awareness Team) is essential to ensure that any issues are addressed promptly. This allows the organizers to properly assess the situation, work toward a resolution, and remain sensitive to the concerns of everyone involved.
The Awareness Team consists of Miriam von Holst (University of Freiburg) and Irene Franzetti (Fraunhofer ISE), who are available for personal approach at any time during the event and can also be reached during conference hours at +49 162 40 55 502.
You can recognize them and other trained helpers via the sticker shown on the right.
Elke Gust and Thomas Kaltenbach (Fraunhofer ISE) will provide additional support to the Awareness Team and can be reached via this e-mail: vertrauensrat(at)ise.fraunhofer.de
