Abstract Submission
Abstract submission for the ICE 2025 is closed.
The abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection upon completion of the review process.
Please note:
- All presentations are to be held on-site at the conference, an online presentation is not possible.
- The presenting author of the abstract is required to register and pay the conference fee in order to present their work.
Like previous conferences, ICE 2025 will offer you a broad stage to present and discuss all topics related to your advances in water electrolysis research, innovation and industrial application. We aim to uphold a strong technical focus on water electrolysis, starting from fundamentals and new materials for all related electrolysis technologies, to innovative cell and stack concepts, to sophisticated challenges system integration or complex understanding of degradation mechanisms and durability. The conference covers all low- and high-temperature processes based on water or steam electrolysis, but more advanced technologies, such as co-electrolysis with carbon dioxide, are not excluded.
The following Technologies and Research Areas will be covered:
Electrolysis Technology
- Alkaline water electrolysis
- Proton exchange membrane water electrolysis
- Anion exchange membrane water electrolysis
- High-temperature steam electrolysis
- Proton conducting ceramic electrolysis
- Membraneless or decoupled water electrolysis
- Other alternative electrolysis approaches (for hydrogen production)
Research Area
- Fundamentals
- Modeling of components, cells, and systems
- Electrocatalysis/Electrocatalysts
- Ionomers/Separators/Membranes/Diaphragms
- Electrolyte electrode assemblies as membrane electrode assemblies
